About Me
Frank Alvarez is a Financial Consultant with Tidemark Financial Partners. Frank focuses in providing financial advice and financial plans to Engineers, Corporate Executives, and Business owners. As someone who enjoys math and detail-oriented work, Frank recognized his natural fit for working with professionals who value facts and results based on underlying numbers.
Frank earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at San Diego State. He is Bilingual in Spanish and English, committed to offering professional financial advice to a wide range of clients, as well as being a dedicated volunteer in his church’s ministry for the homeless.
In his free time, Frank and his wife Melisa love to cook and travel; he’s also an avid golfer.

Does it cost to schedule a meeting?
No! The first meeting is an introductory presentation to find out if we are a good fit. We believe you shouldn’t pay us a penny until we can determine we can provide value to your personal financial situation.
Do you only take meetings in San Diego?
While I enjoy sitting face to face with the majority of our clients, thanks to technology and the ease of communication it has brought, we now have a number of growing clients out of state.
How often can I expect to talk to you?
We take a proactive approach to communicating with clients.
If there are major changes in the economic environment or tax law we will be the first ones to let you know. We try to communicate with clients on a quarterly basis, but can always be adjusted according to your preferences. We always have some spots available for emergency meetings for you.
Are you a Fiduciary?
Yes, we are fee-based financial advisors. We take our fiduciary roles very seriously as we believe that our advice should always be in the client’s best interest above all.
